Event 2: International Conference „Citizen Involvement: My Opinion and Actions Matter!” in Rezekne, Latvia

The event involved 157 citizens, including 1 participant from the city of Kalamata, Greece, 1 participant from the city ofRazlog, Bulgaria, 1 participant from the city of Slavonski Brod, Croatia, 1 participant from the city of Bologna, Italy and 1 participant from the city of Marseilles, France 

The aim of the event was to present the results of the activities of the project so far. To that aim, a conference was organised with the title “Citizen Involvement: My Opinion and Actions Matter!” where our findings as well as examples of Active Citizen’s involvement and initiatives at local and international levels. In parallel, the partners also visited local civil society organisations and authorities and discussed how we can empower and encourage Citizens to be more actively involved in civil society initiatives at local and European levels.
